Pangbourne College to become All Steinway School

Pangbourne College’s commitment to become an All Steinway School commenced last week by selecting two new Steinway grand pianos, including a new Steinway & Sons Concert Grand. College students and staff were thrilled when Maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy generously agreed to participate in the selection process.

Completion of a new music building at Pangbourne scheduled for April 2012 will see a further 10 new pianos arriving from Steinway & Sons, making Pangbourne College only the third Independent School in the UK to be designated “All Steinway School”.
