There will also be interesting historical information posted here, including our Steinway Historical Fact of the Day. We will begin all the way back in the early 1800's in Germany, and follow Henry Steinway's immigration to America and founding of Steinway & Sons in 1853. We will continue with interesting facts from throughout the years that will help give some perspective on just how long Steinway has been setting "The Standard of Excellence" in the piano world.

Steinway Historical Fact of the Day:
In 1873, a sawmill, iron and brass foundries and metal works were built at the Queens facility. Main Street in Astoria was renamed Steinway Street. (more facts)
